We believe that children who have an INDIVIDUALISED, ENJOYABLE and EARLY reading experience, in a fun-filled environment, will LOVE READING and READ WELL.
Once your pre-interview/conversation-form has been completed we will confirm the time and date for our informal conversation. A draft contract will be sent to you once you accept the quotation. You may read through the contract with your legal consultants or someone whose advice you trust. We will gladly answer any questions or address concerns you might have about the legal side of the business. When the formalities are ticked off, we start by preparing your marketing material, the Little Readers KIT, and your Centre is good to go! The process takes 6 weeks after the signing of the contract and the transfer of the Franchise fee.
Centres can be static or mobile, depending on your financial capacity, AS LONG AS THEY ARE SAFE and CHILD-FRIENDLY.
You can make an agreement with your local schools to provide you with an area for classes or you can even convert a minibus into a mobile centre. The Little Readers KITS are compact, commute-friendly and crazy-creative, loaded with heaps of fun, fun, fun. The online Little Readers Training videos cover all the elements of the Reading Programme and provide the Franchisee with practical experience on how to implement the programme.
Space adjacent to your house with a separate entrance that is easy accessible with bathroom facilities

Mobile centre in a hired or rented space at any school(s). You can visit schools weekly and make use of their facilities. Keep in mind that many schools offer classrooms for extramural activities.

Rented premise, such as a small room near a school, church or library, or any other location that will be suitable for classes.

Mobile reading bus, where you can remove seats and convert the space into your own mobile classroom. This option is multifunctional, because seats can be reconverted on weekends and used as a family vehicle.
The Little Readers Programme
has been designed and developed by Franchisor, Maunette de Kock, a qualified pre- and foundation phase school teacher and with the help of many other specialists in the field of Early Childhood Education.
Our Franchisees are part of a multi-discipline team, some of whom have had more than 25 years of experience in their respective fields. The team includes Foundation Phase, Pre-school and Special Needs Education teachers. Also part of our team are Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, a Speech Therapist, a Psychometric Practitioner and a University lecturer in Education who holds a Doctorate in Early Childhood Development and Foundation Phase Education.
